I delved into the enchanting world of music from a very young age. My first steps in this sonic universe were with the violin, which was soon replaced by the piano keys. However, it was through the flute that I ultimately found a true passion.
My academic journey began with a training program in stage management in Liège, where I acquired the skills needed to navigate the world of performing arts.
Driven by a thirst for a deeper understanding of sound, I then pursued sound engineering studies at INSAS in Brussels, further broadening my horizons in the field of audio.

Alongside my studies, a creative adventure began with the founding of Les Temps Mêlés in Verviers: a rather unique space that was once stables, steeped in a variety of stories.
With a touch of madness, we transformed this space into a studio, a concert hall, and a venue for occasional performances. Fun fact: music had already echoed within these walls back in the 1970s. La Jument Balance, a café-concert of the time, left its musical imprint on this place, already rich with history.

For me, balance is essential between the technical and artistic aspects. By juggling the roles of sound engineer and artist, I find a harmonious synergy that brings my projects to life. Now working as a freelancer, my journey reflects an unwavering passion for music and a strong determination to shape sound with ever-greater precision.

  • Jeremy Saive is an audio genius. He’s one of the easiest yet most caring people to work with. And not just because he’s an amazing human being but also because he’s a very intelligent and intuitive audio expert/musician. Very proud to have him as our official audio technician for my band the Tizaan Alphonso Collective. Very proud to have him mixed my EP Take it or Leave it

  • Jeremy Saive - the only sound engineer you will ever need

On arriving at Les Temps Mêlés you will see Jeremy gliding effortlessly through the room with a KitKat in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. If you look closely, you will see that his feet only just touch the ground. The impossible he does straight away with miracles taking just a little bit longer, but not always.

On entering the studio, the lights of the Ethernet router flash in unison waiting impatiently to begin work. Be it to deliver a tailored mix to each musician, routing various sounds and video signals to the control room or just flashing in different combinations to look extremely important, the instructions of their master will be faithfully obeyed without question.

In the corner of the main recording room, you will find a forest of microphones; one for every occasion. So don't worry if you can't play your instrument very well - it will sound great. Need to sing? No problem. The soothing voice in your headphones encouraging you to sing it just one more time with feeling, will make you think you are the next Sinatra or Taylor Swift. You just have to believe and Jeremy will do the rest.

Did the song slow down slightly in the middle? Perhaps one of the musicians drifted off into a parallel universe for a moment (it happens)? Don't worry. A few clicks and a tempo map will appear correcting everything in its path. Did the violin play a false note? A snap of the fingers to bring up the pitch changer on the left-hand screen (the one you always wondered what it was used for but were too afraid to ask) and the note will be gently put into its correct place.
